Stop calling Yuri!!! On Ice Yaoi
The Yaoi genre is very problematic

Things Yaoi is:
Heteronormative (”seme” and “uke” where the seme is tall and masculine and the uke is small and feminine. there’s always one that “wears the pants” and the other that’s always mistaken for a girl.)
Stereotypical (99% of the time the characters are portrayed as either fashion obsessed, “sissy” boys or big, leather-clad men. There’s no in between.)
Exploitative (Yaoi’s only purpose is to sexualize and abuse homosexuality for the entertainment of heterosexual women.)
Porn Without a Plot (the majority of Yaoi series have little to no character development or relatable characters and just rushes to the dirty stuff.)

Things Yuri!!! On Ice is:
Actually Gay (Victor and Yuuri express their feelings for each other in ways other than having butt sex.)
LGBT-Friendly (Victor and Yuuri don’t express harmful stereotypes, and the supporting cast isn’t homophobic towards them)
Healthy (Victor and Yuuri don’t fall in love after one abused the other. They openly express their emotions, their feelings are mutual, and they support each other while still staying strong individually.)
Complex & Realistic (Victor and Yuuri’s relationship is not this show’s only focus. Victor and Yuuri also have arguments, face normal struggles, and actually act like a real LGBT couple.)

А я-то думаю, чего мне заранее так неинтересно, что даже не начать. Хелси-шмелси.
